The official spokesperson for the government, Khaled Al-Aysir, Minister of Culture and Information, announced that the war in Sudan has taken a different and dangerous turn with the appearance of strategic weapons, including drones that use missiles launched from platforms in Chad.

Al-Aysir confirmed in a joint press conference with the Ministries of Defense, Media, and Foreign Affairs in Port Sudan today that the government has strong evidence of the UAE's involvement. He noted that these strategic weapons are only possessed by states, and it has never happened in history that a militia has had access to such weapons, except in the case of Sudan's war. He emphasized that the countries producing these strategic weapons condition that they not leak to other parties besides the state, and that their reach by the militia confirms the involvement of major countries.
